welcome, baby!

we are super excited to introduce our new little miss!  thing 3!  claire paisley!  she arrived just after 1 pm on june 26, and we are so in love :)

we heard a lot of "oh, wow" comments when they weighed this big girl - she's 10 lb, 6 oz!  mama's guess was 9 lb like big sis, but that was a tad off...

probably no birth ever goes exactly "perfect," but we are SO glad for how well this one went.  mama was able to stay home until about 9ish that morning, and baby girl arrived not toooo much later.  a completely different experience from last time, and mama left the hospital the next day feeling amazing.  a little sore, a little tired, but able to function and thoroughly enjoying her little family.  

so glad for the help of mamaw the last couple of weeks of pregnancy since this mama was moving in sloooooow motion - although now it's a little clearer why!  also so glad to have her birthday during the 39th week instead of the 41st like big sis  :)

below is lil miss getting her first bath just after birth - she was not a huge fan, but we loved hearing her squawk about it.  :)
